The 3D2N route takes Kelor for the trek and Manjarite to snorkel on day one, closing at Kalong for the flying foxes; Padar at first light on day two, then Pink Beach, the Komodo Island dragon trek, Taka Makassar and Manta Point; a final snorkel at Kanawa or Sebayur before returning to port by eleven. The longer 5D4N and 6D5N charters spread the same waters across extra days and add Siaba, Rangko Cave and Seraya.

    About This Vessel

    Kanthaka is a 33.7-metre phinisi finished in 2025, and she is one of very few boats in this directory running two main engines rather than one: a Mitsubishi 6D22 and a 6D15, backed by two Mitsubishi 4D11 generators. For a wooden hull working a park with strong tidal currents, that redundancy matters more than the brochure lets on.

    Five cabins, ten guests as standard and up to fourteen as currently advertised by the operator. Three of the five sit on the upper deck and two on the lower, all with full air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. The cabins carry Sanskrit and Indonesian names: Sagara, Nandini, Jivana, Aruna and Mihika.

    The deck layout is published in more detail than most. Upper deck holds three guest bedrooms. Lower deck holds two more plus the kitchen and engine room. Common space runs to an indoor dining and karaoke lounge, an outdoor dining lounge, an outdoor chill lounge and a sundeck, with a separate navigation room and a dedicated crew cabin and crew area kept apart from guest space.

    She carries an 8,000-litre water tank, one tender, a life raft, fire extinguishers, GPS and radio communication. Onboard amenities include beach and bath towels, a water dispenser, a TV unit and a Bluetooth sound system. Snorkelling gear and a paddleboard come with the fare; there is no dive centre or compressor, though the operator does list diving activities as arrangeable with rented personal gear.

      Shared 3D2N trips start at approximately $420 per person in the Mihika or Aruna Cabin. This is the fare for the full three-day, two-night trip, based on a minimum booking of 2 people in that cabin category. Extra-bed prices are separate.

      Private leisure charter starts at approximately $4,860 for the whole vessel on the minimum published 2D1N package, for 1–10 guests. Larger groups, longer trips and diving packages may have different rates.
